I recently went to a friend's 50th birthday. My friends and I belong in the 40 to 55 year old biological age group. We consider each other to be very healthy and look 10 to 20 year old younger than our ages. After several glasses of wine i started to ask my friends their secrets to staying healthy and looking youthful. The answers were very simple. Here are some sacred habits we all shared:
1- Sleep minimum 7 hours a day and nap at least once during the day for 20 minutes. If you dont sleep 8 hours you should nap 20 min for each hour you dont sleep at night.
2- Carry around your own pure water container to make sure you stay hydrated.
3- Take extra Antioxidants in capsules or drink several onces of homemade juice everyday.
4- Eat an organic plant based diet. If you eat meat, make it the smallest portion of your meal.
5- Do some kind of activity that can be defined as exercise, running, swimming, walking or sports activities.
6- Meditate, listen to music, watch positive visual entertainment, such as comedies and documentaries.
7- Have friends, or at least be kind to your neighbor, have a pet, keep in touch with family.
8- Useorganic or homemade personal care products.
9- Find someone to love unconditionally.
10- Love yourself enough to become better, healthier, stronger, happier and smarter.
These are proven healthy habits. If you want to make a healthy change in your life start with one of these. Trust me, you will look and feel much better than the people who are not following any healthy advice.
